![]() ![]() I'd say beckoner is hands down the stronger one. Is having four weak ogres better than two regular ogres? Is Linger that important if you're singing your phrases twice as fast? So my question is: Why would you pick Beckoner, when a Troubadour with Brisk Recitation can bring forth stronger summons faster than a Beckoner can? And it's the regular, full-strength summon instead of the watered-down Beckoner version. But if Brisk Recitation is active, it takes 18 seconds before you can summon it. And while a Beckoner will summon twice as many creatures, they are weaker and don't last as long.įor a Troubadour, that same summons requires 6 phrases. I was initially thinking of being a Beckoner, but the more I read up on the Troubadour, the more I'm thinking it's ultimately the better choice.įor a regular Chanter, a summons that requires 5 phrases takes 30 seconds before you can summon it.įor a Beckoner, that summons only requires 4 phrases, taking 24 seconds before you can summon it. I've been trying to plan out my first Deadfire character, a Chanter.
